Professional background

Jesús Fontenla has been building his career since 2021 in intellectual and industrial property, competition law, data protection, digital law and general corporate matters. He holds a Law degree and a Diploma in Economic Law from the University of Navarra, completed the Master's in Digital Law, Telecommunications and Energy at CEU San Pablo University —with a thesis on intellectual property rights in creations generated by artificial intelligence systems— and the Master's in Corporate Legal Advisory at the University of A Coruña.

His experience spans both private practice and in-house legal advisory, as well as the provision of legal services to chambers of commerce and foundations. He speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese and Galician.

Area of specialization

Specialized in digital law and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, privacy, intellectual property and e-commerce. In M&A processes, he analyzes the legal soundness of target companies' technology and intangible assets.
