Professional background
José María Baños is the founding partner of Letslaw and a multidisciplinary lawyer, specialized in commercial law, procedural law and the law of new technologies, e-commerce, intellectual property and data protection. He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Specialist Master's in New Technologies Law from the Comillas Pontifical University.
He holds the APEP ACP certification (APEP-Certified Privacy) as a Legal Consultant, awarded by the Spanish Professional Privacy Association (APEP), and is a member of the Committee of Experts for the Resolution of Domain Name Disputes appointed by Adigital. He also belongs to DENAE (the Spanish Entertainment Law Association), the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain and the Spanish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
He is a lecturer in various programs at ICEMD – ESIC and the Antonio de Nebrija University.
