Professional background
Sergio Poza is Head of the IP/IT practice at LetsLaw, specializing in intellectual and industrial property, trade secrets, technology transfer, data protection, unfair competition and litigation. He holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE, completed a Postgraduate Diploma in European Patent Law at the CEIPI in Strasbourg and is a certified Data Protection Officer.
He has extensive experience advising and representing national and international clients in contract negotiations and court proceedings in sectors such as new technologies, consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. He has taught in the Master's in Legal Practice at ISDE, at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues and in INCIBE's Cybersecurity Ventures International Acceleration program.
He is a regular speaker at international intellectual property conferences —Young EPLAW Congress, Pan-European LESI YMC Event— and a contributor to specialized publications such as LES Nouvelles and Economist & Jurist.

Specialized in the due diligence of intellectual and technology assets in M&A processes: ownership of trademarks and patents, software protection, trade secrets, GDPR compliance and regulatory risk analysis for companies with technology-intensive business models.
